Abstract
Due to the advancement of physical infrastructure that the Corporación Universitaria del Caribe (CECAR) has been presenting, the occurrence of events related to the repeated use of certain structural elements and the lack of their maintenance have been favored, increasing the number of accidents within the institution. Due to the above, the present investigation had as a general objective, the design of strategies that would reduce the percentage of accidents of workers, students and / or visitors caused by the conditions of the infrastructure of the Caribbean University Corporation, This investigation was It was carried out using a qualitative approach, as a first instance a criterion was developed starting from what is observable in the vicinity of the corporation to the recognition of the real context in terms of security.
