Abstract

The objective was to determine what are the personal, sentimental and economic factors that influence alcohol consumption and the consequences on mental health in men over 18 to 30 years of age. The methodology applied to the study was descriptive with a quantitative approach. , the study sample consisted of 80 males with an age range of 18 to 30 years, it is concluded in the present study that personal factors have had a considerable influence on alcohol consumption, as demonstrated by 35% (28 males); the other factor is the sentimental one that influences the liquor intake in 26.3% (21 men) and the economic factor is the one with the greatest preponderance, as shown in 38.7% (31 men, on the other hand in relation to mental health Alcohol consumption has been causing mental gaps in people, inappropriate behaviors, bringing serious complications to the citizen for their good development on a personal level.
