Abstract

The following article he presents an explanation about the phenomenon of acid rain for the Chemistry course at the Cesar Vallejo University. The research work of two professionals graduated from the Universidad de la Salle in Bogotá - Colombia, in which consisted of determining the behavior of the environmental phenomenon and the meteorological conditions in the "La Candelaria" neighborhood of said city, where they followed a series of steps where the methodology was applied: Create an inventory, analyze the available data, and make a review of analysis of the samples, in addition to not presenting important sources of contaminants of industrial origin, it has a physical atmospheric environment that allows suggesting a normal pH value of between 5.7 and 5.8; This was obtained from the analysis of the values obtained during the six months of sampling, which leads us to deduce that the absence of industries does not always ensure a healthy and clean climate.
